Delivery, Inspection and Acceptance of Merchandise 

(a). By taking possession of the merchandise, the Customer accepts and certifies the merchandise is in good condition, free from damage or defect.

(b). Please note: Delivery personnel are not qualified nor authorized to make modifications nor alterations to any merchandise, nor to install any electrical equipment or to hang any wall furnishings.

(c) Goods are not to be delivered further than 12 feet from the dispatch vehicle and above no wall or decking.

(d) It is the customer’s responsibility (i) to provide delivery access to premises on the respective delivery date and time; (ii) unobstructed delivery path and clearance to destination area; (iii) Customer or adult agent’s presence to receive the merchandise on the scheduled delivery date; (iv) ample space in destination area for proper handling of merchandise; (v) straight, levelled floor(s) (vi) when applicable, arrangement for reservations for access to elevators or other necessary means of access to premises. Customer shall provide a safe and adequate vehicle for transportation of merchandise picked up by Customer, or Customer’s chosen agent.

 Refund and Return Policy

(a). Sales Orders are cancellable and eligible for refund of purchase provided (i) Customer has not taken possession of, nor accepted, the merchandise; and/or (ii) the refund is requested within seven (7) working days after the original Sales Order date. Special Orders are final and not subject to cancellation or refund.

(b) Store credit notes for funds paid towards a Sales Order will be valid for six (6) months from the date of issue. All sales and funds paid shall be non-refundable and non-creditable after six (6) months from credit note date, there will be no obligation to refund any monies nor honour any credit given to the Customer.

(c). All merchandise shall be deemed automatically accepted by Customer upon delivery, unless objected to at time of delivery and returned as unacceptable with the delivery personnel. Upon acceptance, except as indicated in (f) below, all sales are final, non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-returnable or subject to credit or reselection.

(f). Good Will Clause: Ramlagan’s Superstore Ltd may, in its sole and absolute discretion, accept return of merchandise within seven (7) working days of acceptance date in exchange for store credit in the amount of the original purchase price less a (minimum) restocking fee equal to 10% of the returned merchandise original purchase price, plus an applicable Pickup fee, subject to the following conditions: i) the request is made promptly within seven (7) days after acceptance of merchandise and the merchandise is returned within seven (7) days from the initial request date; ii) the merchandise is in the same condition as when accepted (as determined by the company’s personnel) (iii) Actual restocking fee may be higher than 10% and shall be determined in its absolute discretion on an individual case-by-case basis. The initial Delivery and setup charges will not be credited or refunded. NO refunds shall be issued under the provision of this paragraph.

  1. Refund Procedure

(a). Refund requests shall be accepted only from original purchaser, as identified in the Sales Order. Refunds shall be made to original purchaser as the same appears in the Sales Order and/or account, regardless of the identity of payer. Refunds will be made to customer in the same form as the original payment or by bank transfer. Credit cards refunds shall be made only to credit card(s) used in original purchase. CASH REFUNDS ARE PROHIBITED. All refunds are subject to verification.

  1. Limited Warranty

Warranty is specific to the supplier or manufacturer of the item/s purchased and will be honoured only with a receipt of purchase and from the date of purchase. Within the time frame of the warranty, the item will be repaired according to the supplier of the respected item/s. Warranty is honoured only for manufacturer’s defect and a refund of item will not be permitted. If necessary, a technician may have to visit the respective location to view and repair the item. If the item is or has been dismantled or tampered with, warranty will be voided. In addition, the following is excluded from coverage: damage resulting from normal wear and tear, scratches, damage caused by pets, fluids or chemical, glass breakage, water damage, in-transit damages, accident, damage to merchandise resulting from customer’s own (or customer agent’s) improper handling or transportation of merchandise, customer’s negligence, alteration, unauthorized repairs, use of unauthorized parts, acts of God, vandalism, riots, hurricanes, and wars.
